#GRAVITY RUSH 2 PS4#
As you'll often find yourself having to quickly switch direction in mid-air in pursuit of, say, a pigeon, without having time to touch down for a breather, things can get a tad hectic to say the least. When you're floating and flying through the air, walls can become floors and ceilings become walls, which can be a bit disorientating to begin with. However, it's the gravity manipulation that also provides the game's biggest challenge. There's a choice of easy, medium and hard difficulty levels, giving you plenty of room to find a level you're comfortable with, while combat has a fair amount of auto-targetting attacks too - perfect if you're messing around with gravity and aren't really sure which way is up any more. In terms of accessibility, Gravity Rush 2 is reasonably easy to pick up and play.
How easy is Gravity Rush 2 to pick up and play? Combined with Kat's formidable, yet mostly basic button-mashing hand to hand combat skills, as well as her ability to gather up nearby items and hurl them at enemies with her gravity power, you're able to pull off some pretty flashy moves against the shadowy Nevi enemies with relative ease, as you save the world once more. As Kat can manipulate gravity, you can even run along walls or ceilings, as you make your way through the floating cities. At any point in the game, you can make Kat float into the air at the touch of a button, and by simply pointing her in the direction you want to go, you can zoom across the skies at high speed. While the main story focuses on Kat and her band of misfits fighting back against a race of shadowy beings and political corruption, the rest of the game focuses on the more 'mundane' everyday goings on in the floating cities - whether it's taking a young boy on a flying tour of the town, chasing after a seagull that stole your lunch, or delivering the world's stinkiest package, there's plenty to keep you busy.Īs you may expect, Kat's unique gravity powers play into everything you do, from taking out scores of Nevi enemies to delivering newspapers - and it's also the de facto way to get around town. An action-packed adventure game, Gravity Rush 2 is divided into a number of hub worlds, where you can choose to help the townsfolk out and battle shadowy Nevi monsters, before taking on key story missions, extra side quests and challenges when you see fit.
